31-05-23 / Now, after working for a year and a half in the former printing company Roto-Smeets in Deventer, I have removed the last of my stuff. The video recording of the installation can be viewed at: ‘A possible monument’. As my final work I made the photo below of two wooden plates lying against each other on which the dust that has collected over the years in the hollow side of a convex mirror that hung in the building.

‘Vanaf 24 oktober 2020 t/m 17 januari 2021 is in de ACEC Salon een duotentoonstelling te zien van Ronald de Ceuster en Monique Kwist.
Beide kunstenaars maken ruimtelijk werk, in de vorm van objecten en ruimtelijke assemblages.
Thematisch raakt hun werk elkaar als het gaat over improvisatie en een zoekende, ‘schetsende’ werkmethode.
In het werk van Monique Kwist zitten verwijzingen naar landschap en architectuur. Soms lijkt het of ze afdrukken of afgietsels van plekken heeft gemaakt.
Ronald de Ceuster onderzoekt in zijn werk en installaties ‘handelingen in het moment’. Boeiend zijn de foto’s waarin hij zelf figureert in zijn eigen tijdelijke
installaties.Zij zijn het afgelopen jaar een artistieke uitwisseling aangegaan om deze tentoonstelling in ACEC te maken.
De kunstenaars brengen voor de gelegenheid een publicatie uit met recent werk en levendige teksten over hun ontmoetingen.’
